Resolve ‘memory_target needs larger /dev/shm’ in Oracle
The error related to the memory_target parameter during Oracle Database upgrades is due to insufficient size of /dev/shm, which must be at least 1.125GB. To resolve the issue, adjust the /etc/fstab entry, remount /dev/shm, and restart the database. In Docker, increase size with ‘–shm-size=2.00gb’.
